WHEELING -
Just one week after the City of Wheeling tried to push a downtown building owner to step up and fix his property or else, it appears the owners are now taking action.
The owners had some men working on the Rogers hotel Friday.
City Manager Bob Herron confirmed there was some work being done, but we don't know to what extent.
The city says neglect of the building has been causing health and safety concerns.
Owners have until February 17th to make major renovations to the roof and outside structure or the city could take control for it to be raised and destroyed.
