Central's McCormick Wheeling Hospital Athlete of the Week

This week's Wheeling Hospital Athlete of the Week is Wheeling Central's Colleen McCormick.

The junior has been the model of consistency averaging a double-double for the second ranked Maroon Knights with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

last week she helped her squad complete season sweeps of Wheeling-area rivals and Linsly and Wheeling Park.

The hard working junior, McCormick scored 18 points in the win over Park and 13 against Linsly.

McCormick and her Lady Knights, are now 17-3 on the season, she had 22 in their win over River in the OVAC semifinals, they will take on Shadyside for the OVAC 2-A championship on Saturday at OU Eastern.
