Wheeling Park Girls Outlast Morgantown to Win OVAC Title

The Wheeling Park girls basketball team needed overtime to outlast Morgantown 68-62 to win the first OVAC Class 5A championship. It was a second straight OVAC title, only last year's was in Class 4A.

Emily Puskarich led Wheeling Park with 22 points, Haley Robb added 15, with Marissa Tucker and Kambrea O'Neal contributing 10 points each.

The victory is the third over Morgantown this season, as the Patriots improve their record to 18-3 on the season.
