Wheeling Park Boys 4-Peat as OVAC Big School Champions

The streaking Wheeling Park boys held off a bunch of stingy Indian Creek Redskins to win a fourth consecutive OVAC big school championship 51-45 at Ohio University Eastern.

This is Wheeling Park's first championship in Class 5A, having won the past three in 4A.

Wheeling Park senior Boo Lathon led all scorers with 20 points, Southern Cal track recruit Errin Baynes fouled out with 14 points. The Patriots have reeled off five straight wins.

Dylan Hibbits and Frankie Kamarec scored 11 points each for Indian Creek.
