A Wheeling man in behind bars Sunday after allegedly making threats to an ex-girlfriend.
It happened at 2320 Warwood Avenue on Saturday night. 39-year-old Michael Palicka's ex-girlfriend called police to her home for an alleged threatening text message from Palicka
The victim told Wheeling Police that she and Palicka recently broke up and he was now staying in the home next to her and she was afraid of him trying to get into her house.
While police were present Palicka allegedly broke into the basement.
He was arrested and arraigned by Magistrate Joe Roxby on charges of burglary, domestic assault and destruction of property.
He's lodged in the northern regional jail on $20,000 cash bond.
