Tim Wilson has stepped down as the head football coach at Shenandoah High School after seven season as head coach.
Wilson says he wants to be able to spend more time with his two kids, and two step-children, who are between the ages of nine and 13, and are enrolled in the Cambridge school system.
Wilson compiled a record of 36-34 as the Zeps head coach. His first team, in 2005, won the Pioneer Valley Conference (PVC) championship.
Wilson, a 1987 graduate of Shadyside High School, says he may not be out of coaching long. He's been offered the defensive coordinator job at Cambridge High School, under newly-named head coach Kevin Gun.
