CHARLESTON -

The West Virginia legislative session is now two thirds over and Monday is the final day for bills to be introduced.

Many measures are up for a vote today but none of those  bills are scheduled to be finished and go to the Governor today.

In the senate, the bill that would clarify that convicted felons are unable to run for office will be up for a vote .

And in the house, a bill that would allow freestanding liquor retail outlets to have liquor sampling events will be up for a vote.

The Governors mine safety bill is also scheduled to be read for a first time on the house floor.
