CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (AP) -
Police found three people shot to death in a house in Logan County.
Relatives of the victims tell The Associated Press that the bodies of Paul Jarrell, Eddie Bell and Michelle Bell were discovered Sunday morning in the home near Chapmanville. Jarrell's sister, Brenda Jarrell, told the Gazette that the Bells were staying with her brother.
Police said 34-year-old Trevor Tomblin, of Chapmanville, was a person of interest in the slayings. Police say Tomblin died at a local hospital after a car accident Sunday morning. Authorities say he had been driving a truck registered to one of the victims and that a handgun, prescription medication and a large amount of cash were in the stolen vehicle.
Police say the bodies were taken to the state medical examiner's office.
