HOPEDALE, Ohio -
The Hopedale Fire Chief accused of filing a fraudulent insurance claim is arraigned in court Tuesday morning.
Michael Moore and his volunteer fire department have been indicted on three counts of insurance fraud, telecommunications fraud and theft by deception.
According to Harrison County Prosecutor Shawn Hervey, Fire Chief Moore allegedly filed a claim saying equipment was damaged when in turn it wasn't damaged.
If he is found guilty, Moore could face six to 18 months in prison and pay up to a $5,000 dollar fine.
