State Route 7 traffic will be restricted next Wednesday, May 30, south of Mingo Junction in Jefferson County for utility work.AEP Ohio Power Company will be installing wire across the highway from 8 a.m.
Officials said utility work will be done.
UNIONTOWN, Ohio -
An accident in Uniontown, Ohio Wednesday sent one person to the hospital and left one family with its home knocked off the foundation.
The accident occurred on Route 331 in Belmont County when authorities said a car tried to turn left in front of a semi driving the opposite direction.
Authorities said the semi struck the car, lost control, went through a front yard into a home knocking it completely off the foundation.
The driver of the car was transported to the hospital with a possible broken leg.
The driver of the semi and the home owners were not injured.
Firefighters were on scene trying to stabilize the home.
