A new web site has been launched by the West Virginia Department of Education, to help link career and technical students with potential employers.

The web site, www.wvcareerpathways.com , enables employers to explore lists of career pathways and locate career centers and high schools where training occurs.

Among the listed industries are agriculture, food and natural resources; business and marketing; engineering and technical; fine arts and humanities; health sciences, and human services.

The Department of Education says more than 160,000 high school students and more than 170,000 adults in West Virginia are enrolled in career and technical classes.
