An amber alert has been issued for the state of West Virginia after a possible murder and kidnapping.
Authorities in Mercer County say that at approximately 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Tracey Atwell, 49, went to his parents home, robbed them and kidnapped his 8-year-old daughter Porscia. Atwell does not have custody of his daughter and before leaving he told his parents that he had killed his wife.
Police believe Atwell is driving a white 1999 Jeep Cherokee Loredo with WV license plate 6C3 202.
