CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -

U.S. Senator Joe Manchin has joined 42 colleagues in a letter urging the U.S. Postal Service to extend its moratorium on post office closures until after postal reform legislation is enacted.

About 3,700 post offices nationwide, including 150 in West Virginia, could face closure when the moratorium ends.  The moratorium is set to expire May 15.
