The Lady Rebels basketball team is getting ready to compete in the 14-U AAU National Tournament at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. on July 2-8.
The Lady Rebels are made up of girls from Ohio, Marshall, Brooke, and Belmont Counties. They won the West Virginia AAU Tournament to advance to Disney.
The Lady Rebels are coached by Chip Calissie, whose daughter Cate is on the team. They take a 36-2 record to nationals and have been ranked in the top 10 all year. The Rebels finished fourth at last year's national tournament in Nashville. Over a three-year span, the Lady Rebels have compiled a record of 139-18.
