BELMONT COUNTY -
Search crews have been out on Piedmont Lake looking for a missing young man.
The call came in just before 10 a.m. Monday that there was a possible drowning victim.
One woman who has a cabin on the lake told wtrf.com she heard kids screaming at 8 a.m. Monday but thought they were playing in the lake having fun.
She saw rescue crews show up and the search began.
There are at least seven agencies on scene.
They include the Barnesville Fire Department, Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, Belmont County Sheriff's Department , Belmont County Sheriff's Dive team, Ohio Division of Watercraft and Park Rangers.
The Guernsey County Sheriff's Dive Team will also be on scene.
