A man and woman are behind bars Tuesday morning after what appears to be a drug bust in Bethesda.
Bethesda Police, the Belmont County Sheriff, St. Clairsville Police, Barnesville Police, Belmont County EMA, Ohio State Park Ranger, Emergency Operations Center Mobile Command Bus and the Belmont County Drug Task Force are all involved.
The man and woman who lived in the home, at 103 Washington Street, were led out by police and put in separate cruisers. They were taken to the Belmont County Jail.
A drug dog from the St. Clairsville Police Department is inside the home gathering evidence, which will be taken to the EOC bus outside for processing.
Police are not releasing the name of the couple, or what charges they are facing, but it appears to be drug related.
Neighbors who live near the home say they have people coming with out of state license plates all night long.
A news conference is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at the Bethesda Police Department.
The couple has a four-year-old son, who was retrieved by a friend of the family.
