Thousands Pack the Friendly City for July 4th - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The weather ended up being great as thousands gathered Wednesday night at Heritage Port in Wheeling.

A full night of events were planned for crowds to enjoy the fourth of July celebrations.

Festivities kicked off at 4 p.m. with vendors, inflatable's, and arts & crafts for the kids.

The Wheeling Symphony took the stage at 7:30 p.m.

The big fireworks show put on by Pyrotechnics by Presutti.

Like every year, they're shot off from Wheeling's suspension bridge.
