MOUNDSVILLE -
When the temperatures rise during the summer months, so does local pool business.
While you may have a harder time getting a lawn chair, there's no better way to cool off in near triple digit heat.
Employees at the aquatic center at Grand Vue Park in Moundsville say the pool gets packed in 90 degree weather.
When the gate opens at 11 a.m., they say there is usually a crowd waiting to get in, and by 1 p.m., they are usually filled up.
"We will have to have three guards out and someone out here all the time to make sure nothing goes wrong," says Shayla Scollick, Assistant Manager and Head Lifeguard.
According to Scollick, they do have a guard room to let people cool off in if they get overheated.
