Crews Brave Excessive Heat To Restore Power - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Crews from AEP ,South Central and Mon Power have worked around the clock to get power restored to people all over the Ohio Valley.

And  they are making major progress.

Thousands of people across the Ohio Valley remain without power and air conditioning!

But the numbers are starting to dwindle.

AEP says just over 18-hundred customers are still in the dark.

While South Central power is just shy of 500.

Mon Power is reporting the most outages still, mainly in Wetzel and Tyler Counties,with a little over 45-hundred.

Full restoration for all power is expected by Sunday.
