First Day of Business for Grand Vue Zipline

Posted: Updated:

It was an exciting day at Grand Vue Park as it's brand new zip line opened to the public Saturday.

Nearly 20 people had went on the ride as of Saturday afternoon.

Manager Josh Chaplin says the hot temperatures would probably keep business to a minimum but that they are excited to see how the zip line brings in business down the road.

Chaplin says everyone loves it and ages of riders range from seven to 70. As long as the 70 pound weight limit is met there is no age limit.

The cost right now is $20 for the ride which is 2,000 ft long and the tower itself is 55 ft high.

Seven more lines are in the process of going up and are expected to be open by August 1.

That will be an $80 tour that lasts over three hours once complete.
