Firefighters believe the fire started inside a block building of what is now known as Scio Packaging Company. They say the blaze quickly spread to the rooftop.
Five different departments were called in, each bringing a tanker truck. Firefighters say that helped preserve the Village of Scio's water.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate.
Fire Officials have ruled out the possibility of arson. About 20 workers were inside the plant when the flames broke out, however, there were no injuries.
It is unclear if Scio Packaging Company will be able to re-open on Wednesday.
"Right now we don't have electricity, it is unclear when they will be able to turn that on," said Scio Packaging Company Owner Chris Reese.
