A movie produced about West Virginia's courthouses has been nominated for an Emmy.
It's called "Living Monuments - West Virginia's Courthouses," and was made in 2011 by Wheeling-based Walkabout Company.
One of the courthouses featured in the film is Marshall County's.
The film is a project undertaken by the West Virginia Association of Counties to highlight the significant contribution of our courthouses to history, architecture, and community.
A book is scheduled to be published this fall that will feature the history and architecture of all 55 county courthouses.
