BARNESVILLE, Ohio -

Barnesville Exempted Village School District will receive funding from a Local Government Innovation Grant.  The  funding is from the Department of Development and will total nearly $100,000.

Barnesville School District was one of several applicants for the grant.

Barnesville School District Superintendent Randy Lucas is excited about the funding.

"Superintendent Glasgow at Union Local and myself are excited that we were awarded $100,000 for Project S.H.A.R.E.or "Schools Harnessing Administrative Resources Efficiently", which will provide us the necessary funding to thoroughly study the potential effectiveness and efficiency of sharing administrative resources between districts," stated Lucas.
