The 13th annual Stoney Hollow Tire Amateur Golf Championship tees off this weekend at Oglebay's Speidel Golf Club.
The courses are in beautiful shape despite the lack of rain in the past month.
Nearly 300 golfers from all over the United States are competing for $15,000 in gift certificates and prizes.
The golfers will play both of Oglebay's prize jewels the Jones and Palmer Courses.
Workers are busy getting the courses in the best shape as possible, it's sure to be fast and firm but that's nothing new for the Stoney, says Oglebay Director of Golf Rico Coville.
The tee times are being finalized right now the championship flight players will start on the Palmer Course on Saturday and finish on Jones.
