
Cincinnati attorney Bill Williamson shot the day's best round with a 67 to grab a share of the lead with Dublin's Nathan Clark through Wednesday's second round of the 106th Ohio Amateur at Brookside Golf & Country Club.
The 35-year-old Williamson started the day tied for 25th and climbed the leaderboard with seven birdies against two bogeys.
Clark, a 26-year-old who plays at Lindsey Wilson College, had a 70 and stands at 5-under 139 at the tournament's midpoint.
A shot back was first-round leader Nathan Kerns of Ironton, who had a 74 on the heels of his opening 66.
At 141, was former Ohio State player Alex Redfield (72).
