Residents of Clearview gathered on Wednesday night to discuss their future in regards to drilling.
They met to discuss the position they're currently in, involving options with natural gas giant Chesapeake Energy.
Several residents had received letters from Chesapeake saying they would be interested in acquiring their property; the options of what the Village should do took center stage.
Clearview Mayor Chuck Reinacher said that the next meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 1st, at 7:30 at the Clearview Volunteer Fire Department.
One the options is to sell pieces of property as a block, but no moves have been made with Chesapeake so far.
