Coal Truck Overturns Sending Driver to the Hospital - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The driver of a coal truck has been injured after the vehicle overturned in Belmont County Thursday.

The truck had been heading east on State Route 148, four miles outside of Powhatan Point.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver, Brian Tomlin, was transported to Wheeling Hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been released.

Officials say the contents in the bed of the truck shifted through a turn in the road and the truck rolled onto its left side.
