Kepner Funeral Home to Hold Benefit for Employee - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Kepner Funeral Home is hosting a spaghetti dinner in honor of an employee who is fighting one of the biggest battles of her life.

Back in January, Susan Lesch was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She and her husband Mark have been traveling to and from Philadelphia for treatments.

The cost of treatments and traveling has proven to be very daunting for the Lesch's.

Funeral Director Jim Kepner said, "With the expenses of traveling, the hotels, the treatment and all the expenses of the hospital, they (the Lesch's) are really having some issues paying for everything ... We'd like to have as many of you come as you can."

The benefit will be held Saturday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Carryout orders will be available.
