The Ohio State Fire Marshal is investigating two vacant house fires in Smithfield, that broke out shortly after midnight Friday.
The Village Fire Chief said there was no electricity hooked up to either house.
The fire was reported at 12:10 a.m. and 11 fire departments responded.
Crews have already been called back to the scene several times Friday to put out hot spots.
Neighbors living nearby who reported the fire, said it was so intense they were worried about their own homes, given the dry conditions.
