A group of dedicated bikers who are traveling across the country are stopping in Weirton, before traveling to Pittsburgh on Monday.
The World T.E.A.M. Sea to Shining Sea bikers are comprised of disabled men, women veterans with disabilities ranging from loss of limbs to blindness to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. They have served in wars in Afghanistan to Iraq and Vietnam.
For 20 years, World T.E.A.M. has been organizing athletic events for disabled and able-bodied people, including mountain climbing, white water rafting, biking and other sports.
This particular group of bikers set out on May 28th in San Francisco and will end their ride on July 28th in Virginia Beach.
