WTRF.com UPDATE: Police Standoff Comes to an End in Tyler County

WTRF.com has confirmed with a statement by the Tyler County Sheriff Department that the standoff is now over, the suspect who was wanted in Michigan is now dead due to a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The U. S. Marshals, West Virginia State Police, Tyler County Sheriffs Department  and New Martinsville Police Department along with several other departments were all on Scene at a residence on Cow House Road in Adonis, West Virginia.

The individual involved was wanted for murder in Michigan.  Thomas Fritz, 38, is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and her pregnant sister.  He is originally from Sylvania, Ohio, but had fled to West Virginia.
