STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -
Steubenville Police are investigating Thursday morning to find out who fired some eight shots on the city's hilltop.
Police officers on duty late Wednesday night reported hearing the shots go off near Carnegie Street, however, no one was found when they arrived.
The police chief is also out today trying to find evidence and determine exactly where the shots were fired.
Residents living nearby also reported the shots to 911.
