Traffic Backed up on Interstate 70 After Wheeling Tunnel Accident

WHEELING -

 An accident in the westbound lanes of the Wheeling Tunnel slowed traffic Thursday.

Police said a  semi rear ended a pick up truck hauling a trailer just before 2 p.m.

The accident happened in the westbound lanes just outside of the Wheeling title.

There were no injuries and Wheeling Police said it's unclear what caused the accident.

Traffic was backed up for less than an hour.
