WHEELING -
A heads up for motorists traveling on Interstate 70 near Wheeling next week.
Starting July 25, the ramp from I-70 westbound to U.S. 250 South/W.Va. 2 South, Exit 1B near Wheeling and the Exit 2A on ramp for I-70 west will be closed.
The hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Crews will be patching and cleaning the ramps.
Motorists are advised to allow some extra time when traveling in the area next week.
The alternate routes for Exit 1B, U.S. 250 South/W.Va. 2 South , is exit 1A to W.Va. 2 South then to US 250.
If you are traveling near Exit 2A , then you would want to take US 40 West for your Alternate Route.
