COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -
An Ohio man is confirmed among those killed early Friday in a deadly shooting at a Colorado movie theater.
According to family attorney, Rob Scott of Dayton, 27-year-old Matthew McQuinn was killed after diving in front of his girlfriend and her brother amid the gunfire in the theater. The siblings were 27-year-old Samantha Yowler and brother Nick, 32.
According to a family member, Samantha suffered a leg wound and was hospitalized.
McQuinn moved to Colorado from Springfield, Ohio. According to his Facebook page, he graduated from Vandalia Butler High School in 2004.
Also injured from northwest Ohio was 18-year-old Gage Hankins of Forest. Hankins was treated for a forearm injury and shrapnel around his wrist.
