
A Brooke County woman will be recognized for her hard work and economic development projects in the county.
In a press release, it states that West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin will honor Ruby Greathouse for her dedication to service at the Governor's Service Awards banquet at the Charleston Civic Center.
This award has been in existence since 1995.
It honors individuals,families, organizations and businesses who show outstanding dedication to volunteerism and community service in West Virginia.
Greathouse is one of two people in line to receive the Lifetime Achievement award.
Great houses' service includes serving on seven community organizations from historic preservation to tourism.
