SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (AP) -
This weekend, the Ohio man left dead after the Colorado theater massacre will be buried in his home state.
According to the Springfield News-Sun, a visitation for 27-year-old Matthew McQuinn will be held Friday at the Springfield church he attended before moving to Colorado last year. His funeral will be Saturday morning.
McQuinn was watching the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises," with his girlfriend, Samantha Yowler, and her older brother when the Friday shooting rampage occurred. An attorney retained by their families has said the men covered Yowler with their bodies as bullets flew.
Yowler was shot in the leg. Her brother was not hurt.
The suspected shooter, James Holmes, is being held on suspicion of murder. He won't be formally charged until next week.
