Man Accused of Sexual Assault in Court Wednesday

WHEELING, W.Va -

The man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl on Wheeling Island was back in court Wednesday.  

David Maya, 24, has been in the Northern Regional Jail on a $500,000 bond. 

Maya was arrested in Maryland and brought back to Wheeling to face the charges of four counts of sexual assault in the second degree.

If Maya is found guilty, he could spend 10-25 years in prison.
