It was a perfect night to enjoy a refreshing root beer float along the Ohio River.
For a couple tasty hours Wednesday night, WTRF.com's StormTracker Weather team of Chief Meteorologist Dr. Dave Walker and Meteorologist Brian Davis traded in the sweeping beams for some scoops!
WTRF teamed up with Easter Seals to help bring in much needed summer donations.
"We're really happy to be teaming up with Easter Seals on this. A lot of people have enjoyed the root beer floats tonight and it's really nice to know that all the money is going to a great cause," added WTRF Promotion Director Jessica Rine.
For only $1, you could choose form a variety of flavors and all of them were shaping up to be a popular choice.
"This is absolutely the perfect summer time treat!" added Brian Davis.
If you didn't get a chance to stop down and grab a root beer float, don't worry, the campaign will continue over the next couple of weeks at participating Ohio Valley Kroger stores.
