
A routine traffic stop turned into a meth lab discovery Wednesday night in Harrison County.
According to authorities in Harrison County they attempted to stop Steven Coleman on East High Street in Jewett, Ohio.
During that attempted stop Coleman took off and a high speed chase followed.
According to deputies during the chase they passed through an alley and a rock was thrown from the suspect's truck and hit a young girl in the face.
That girl did suffer a minor concussion.
When the vehicle stopped deputies approached Coleman but he jumped from the truck and fled the scene.
Deputies did track Coleman down and discovered a meth lab inside his vehicle.
One officer had to be decontaminated due to a scuffle during the arrest.
