Power has been knocked out in several areas of the Ohio Valley after thunderstorms passed through Thursday evening.
According to the AEP Ohio website as of 9:50 p.m. about 120 customers in Ohio County and 1,304 customers in Marshall County, W.Va. are without power. Across the river in Ohio, 2,755 customers in Jefferson County, 845 customers in Harrison County and 382 customers in Belmont County are without power.
FirstEnergy Corp. is reporting outages in both Tyler and Wetzel counties in West Virginia. As of 7 p.m. 1,151 customers in Tyler County are without power and 316 customers in Wetzel County are without power.
Storm activity has slowed according to 7News Chief Meteorologist Dr. Dave Walker.
