Shadyside is bringing back volleyball - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

For the first time in nearly 30 years Shadyside will have a high school varsity volleyball team.

The hard work of several parents has brought the sport back for the first time since 1983.

Lady Tigers head coach Joel Joseph says right now they are just trying to teach the girls the game.

Shadyside will begin their new era of volleyball on Aug. 27 when they host Steubenville Catholic Central.
