Motorcyclist Recovering After Saturday Crash - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

One person is recovering in the hospital after a motorcycle crash Saturday in Belmont County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol the crash happened on Watson Road near U.S. Route 40 in St. Clairsville at about 7 a.m.

Troopers say the rider, a female, drove off the side of the road and into a tree. The rider then walked to the nearest house for assistance but could not recall where the crash occurred.

The motorcycle was recovered Saturday afternoon.

Dispatch reports the rider was taken to Ohio Valley Medical Center for injuries.
