Belmont County Democrats met at Undo's West in St. Clairsville Monday night to plan their push for the fall election.
The Belmont County Democrat Party Central Committee made tickets available for the party's September 9th picnic at the Fairpoint Polish Club in Fairpoint.
Chair Gordie Longshaw said he hoped the party's Jefferson - Jackson Day dinner set for October 4th would draw a keynote speaker like Ohio U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown.
Belmont County Commissioner Matt Coffland also attended the meeting.
Coffland will answer charges of assaulting a peace officer and disorderly conduct in Belmont County Eastern Division Court Tuesday at 10 a.m.
