Several trees have now been planted outside Beaver Stadium where the Joe Paterno statue used to be.
More than one week has passed since the statue was removed by Penn State maintenance crews.
University President Rodney Erickson said on "Face the Nation" that the statue was a "lightning rod for controversy." This comes after the Freeh report was released ten days earlier.
Penn state says that the statue is in a secure location and it's unclear what will happen to it next.
