Steel industry sources confirm for WTRF.com that the Mingo Junction Plant is among those being auctioned off Tuesday.
The source speaking on anonymity said that several smaller properties are being auctioned after no bids were received for the properties.
The source also confirmed that the Yorkville Plant is slated to be auctioned next week.
A source also said that there appears to be a foreign company and a Scrap Dealer interested in the Mingo Junction property which includes the electric arc furnace and the blast furnace.
WTRF.com has confirmed that there are U.S. companies interested in the smaller properties.
