CHARLOTTE, N.C. -

The Nationwide series held it's inaugural race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this past weekend with the Indiana 250.  Brad Keselowski gave Roger Penske his first NASCAR win to go with 15 win in the Indianapolis 500, but is was not without controversy.

On a restart with just nineteen laps to go the number two of points leader Elliott Sadler is pushed by teammate Austin Dillon past race leader Brad Keselowski.  NASCAR was swift with their justice, black-flagging Sadler.

Once black flagged, Sadler refused to make the drive through penalty, telling his crew chief to have NASCAR review the situation.  When he finally was forced to make the long drive down pit road, he was not afraid to make his feelings known.

Shortly after the race, the Twitter world lit up... Scott Speed put it simple, You have GOT to be kidding.  Hendricks driver Jimmie Johnson tweeted, " I feel for Elliott Sadler... What was he supposed to do with another car pushing him.

After meeting with NASCAR after the race, Sadler tweeted that he was told he wasn't penalized for jumping the start.  After which NASCAR V.P. Robin Pemberton explained the ruling, saying that he wasn't penalized for jumping the restart, but penalized for NOT giving the lead back to Keselowski.

With a 15th place finish, Sadler's lead in the points is down to a single point over team mate Austin Dillon, ironically the car that pushed Sadler out to the disputed lead. Sadler will have a chance to extend his point lead on Saturday at Iowa Speedway for the US Cellular 250.
