It has been a while since the Ohio Valley has had a sunny day with very little cloud cover, and that can mean more people getting outside and enjoying the clear weather.
When going outside Thursday, the lower humidity and lower temperatures can be misleading when it comes to using sunscreen or sun block.
Sunburn can take place in a matter of minutes depending on skin complexion, so be sure to use plenty of sunscreen or sun block if you are going to be out for an extended amount of time.
Even when you may not feel that hot, ultraviolet radiation doesn't come in the form of sensible heat and you can be burned without knowing it.
