Barnesville Hospital has Named New CEO - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Barnesville Hospital has a new Chief Executive Officer and Administrator.

He is  David Phillips who will also serve as President of the Hospital's subsidiaries,Belmont County Health Services and Belmont Professional Associates.

Phillips assumes the role after the retirement of long time CEO, Richard Doan.

Doan recently announced his retirement  but said a plan has been in place for the last few years for succession. "When you have a successful organization you want to maintain that culture.
One way to ensure stability is to promote from within.
David's aptitudes and abilities make him an ideal person to take over the leadership of the organization, ''said Doan.
