
A strong storm system will roll through the Ohio Valley on Sunday bringing a chance for severe weather. Severe storms will be possible in the afternoon and evening on Sunday with the potential for damaging winds.
Ohio Valley residents should prepare now for the fact that severe weather is possible on Sunday.
Flooding may become a concern as well, as current weather models are indicating some totals between one to three inches in some local areas. A quick burst of rain in a strong storm can produce flash flooding in low lying areas.
Stay tuned to the StormTracker 7 Weather Team and/or local National Weather Service office for weather updates leading into this potential weather situation. At this time it appears that severe storms with lightning, damaging winds, and hail are the primary threat with this event.
